Three die in train-vehicle collision

SANDPOINT — Three people have died after a collision between a vehicle and a train near the intersection of W. Selle and N. Boyer roads, according to Idaho State Police.

Further details on those killed, including their ages and gender, is not being released pending notification of next of kin.

The collision was reported about 11:15 a.m., Aaron Snell, ISP communications director, said.

The road is closed at the crossing and is expected to be closed for some time, Snell said.
