Jeanette Bellmore, 96

Jeanette Bellmore passed away June 15, 2023. She was born to John and Olga Moen on Nov. 15, 1926, in Deep, N.D., being the youngest of six children.

In 1937, the family moved to Big Fork, Mont., where she received her education. In 1946, she married Ken Bellmore. The family moved a number of times to various western states due to Ken’s work with the phone company, settling in Bonners Ferry in 1966, where they remained until their passing.

Jeanette was an LPN and worked as a supervisor in the Extended Care Facility at Boundary County Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1983. She and Ken enjoyed making music, and during their retirement years, they made numerous trips to Arizona during the winter months. In later years, she was fortunate to make a trip to Norway, where she was able to visit her family’s home place and take in the many sites there.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Cliff Bellmore; daughter Joanne Bellmore; grandson Bob (Nicole) Gust; granddaughter Leora Ryan; great-grandsons Shawn (Marissa) Nelson, Blake (Hannah) Ryan and Blaine Ryan; great-granddaughter Jenna Gust; and great-great-grandchildren Wyatt James Nelson and Everett Purl James, Weston James Ryan, and Parker Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers and her husband, Ken Bellmore; her granddaughter, Leah Anderson; and her great-grandson, Robert Lee Gust III.
