Packed afternoon scheduled for Fourth of July celebration

BONNERS FERRY — The Fourth of July celebration in Bonners Ferry is going to be a jammed-packed afternoon featuring a parade, music and games, as well as fireworks to finish out the festivities.

The festivities include:

3-4 p.m. — Parade in downtown Bonners Ferry on Main Street.

The remainder of festivities will take place at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

4-5 p.m. — Scott Stover, musician.

5-6 p.m. — Jeremy Espino, musician

6-7 p.m. — Spool Effect, band

6-8 p.m. — Games/prizes on the lawn with Picturesque.

7-8 p.m. — Community orchestra performance.

8-9 p.m. — Spool Effect, band.

9:15-10 p.m. — Closing ceremonies.

10:10 p.m. — Fireworks

The Boundary County Fourth of July celebration is made possible by community donations and volunteers. Forerunner Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization that handles the finances for the celebration.

“Every dollar donated goes directly to our Fourth of July efforts and is tax deductible,” said organizer John Becker. “We have no paid staff and/or members. Our work is 100% volunteer and we are committed to providing our county with an ever-improving celebration.”
