Bonners Ferry Herald, 1923: "The bridge crew of the Illinois Steel Bridge Company, which has been working on the new Moyie Bridge for the past three months, has completed the structure."

The "new steel bridge" was constructed in 1923 to replace the "Old Red Bridge" from 1907. The current bridge, dedicated in 1965, replaced the "new steel bridge."
