SelectHealth Awards open

SelectHealth, a nonprofit health plan, opened applications for its Idaho SelectHealth Awards, which recognize local organizations building strong communities and helping those in need.

Applications are open through April 15 for the awards in January 2024.

The SelectHealth Awards recognizes organizations in Utah and Idaho that build strong communities and help those in need. They support organizations that:

• Promote health and well-being

• Assist individuals with special needs

• Support the underserved

SelectHealth will pick ten winning organizations who will receive $5,000. Past winners have used the funds for programs that support recovery, therapy and health services for children; training and educational needs; initiatives assisting individuals with special needs and providing health and dental services.

Now in its 15th year, past SelectHealth Awards winners have represented a variety of causes, from food banks and mental health programs to senior services, and support for those experiencing homelessness.

SelectHealth encourages all who may qualify for the award to apply at selecthealthawards.org. Applications must be completed directly by organization.
