Parks and Rec seeks volunteers, Walking Club returns
BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County Parks and Recreation’s Future Badger Basketball program still needs volunteer scorekeepers and referees.
In addition, officials announced that Parks and Rec is offering a walking club.

Walking Club returns to Parks and Rec on June 13 through Aug. 18 on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
Walk locations and distances will vary based on the registrant's fitness level to enjoy different scenery.
First walk will start from the Boundary County Fairgrounds and head toward the wildlife refuge.
The Walking Club is for men and women ages 50 and up. Well-behaved leashed pets are welcome.
Registration is $10 and includes a T-shirt. Register online at boundarycountyparksandrec.org or stop by the office at 7171 Fifth St., Bonners Ferry.
