SEASON OPENER: Golf plays down south

CLARKSTON — Badger golf traveled south to Clarkston for an informal tournament, with Braylyn Bayer taking the lowest score.
Since the tournament was informal, there was no team scoring or postings.
“It was just a day to get out and play golf for the first time this year for the vast majority of the players,” Bonners Ferry High School golf coach Ralph Lotspeich said.
Badger girls golf returns strong with returning golfers with state players and members of the 2023 3A state championship runner-ups.
Boys golf also returns with strong numbers and golfers returning from last season, Lotspeich said.
