James Patrick Manley, 66

James P. Manley passed away peacefully March 26, 2023, at Ivy Court in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Jim was born in Rapid City, S.D., on Aug. 24, 1957, to Robert Norvel and Olive Myrtle Manley. He joined the Army in 1975. Shortly after, he married Mary Gould. They had four sons, Andrew James, Abraham David, Christopher Abel and Joseph Allen.

After the Army in 1979, Jim worked at a computer plant where he made printed circuit boards for computers. The family moved from South Dakota to Idaho in 1982, to be near his brother Bob and brother Mike. Jim worked at Clifty View Nursery for 25 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Yvonne and Kathy; brother Bob; and sons Andy and Chris. He is survived by his brother, Mike; sons Abe and Joe; two granddaughters, Serenity and Shyanne Manley; and many nieces and nephews.

Beloved son, father, brother and Grandpa. May you rest in peace.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Bonners Ferry Funeral Home.
