BONNERS FERRY — After a two-year hiatus, the Polar Plunge will return April 1 to benefit Special Olympics Idaho.

All participants must raise a minimum of $75 in order to participate in the plunge. Prizes will be awarded for various levels of money raised.

100% of the donations will go to support the Special Olympics’ sports and leadership programs offered throughout Northern Idaho.

Teams can be formed to help raise the money together. Invite friends and family to the fundraiser. The Bonners Ferry Polar Plunge has a $5,000 goal. Visit https://www.classy.org/campaign/2023-bonners-ferry-polar-plunge/c472728 to donate and participate in the plunge.

The event is hosted by the Boundary County Sheriff's Office and Search and Dive Rescue.
