William Edward 'Bill' Kizer, 80

William Edward "Bill" Kizer, 80, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, died of natural causes on March 4, 2023, at his daughter’s home in St. Ignatius, Mont.

Bill was born on April 19, 1942, the son of Edward and Lillian Wilson Kizer in Minneapolis, Minn. He attended and graduated from Sonoma Valley High School in Sonoma, Calif.

Bill loved to spend time with his family and friends. He liked throwing parties and truly enjoyed cooking and sharing food with those around him.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Bill) and Lisa (Randy); and son-in-law Ron. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Thad, Matthew, AJ, Reed, Connor, Alexa, Michaela and Peyton; his sisters, Mary and Patricia; a brother, Jeff; his ex-wives, Donna Kizer and Anne Brezina; and his beloved canine companion, Sammy. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Michelle; brother Michael; son-in-law Lee; and his adored canine companion, Daphne.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at Northwoods Tavern in Naples, Idaho, also on April 8, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. The family suggests any memorial contributions to the local hospice providers.
