Badgers slam Kellogg for Senior Night
BONNERS FERRY —- Bottom of the seventh, bases loaded, two outs and tied 10 all, on the first pitch Trey Bateman launched the ball to back fence for the Badgers (15-6) giving them the win over Kellogg in game one of a double header 11-10 on Friday for Senior Night.
The game ended 11-10, due to the game ending once the first Badger base runner hit home plate.
In game one, Trey Bateman led the Badgers with five RBIs, three hits, a home run and batting average .750.
In the fifth inning senior Porter Schulte for Bonners Ferry earned three RBIs hitting a double and giving the Badgers an 8-1 lead.
The Wildcats came back hammering in four and five runs in the final inning tying it all up.
In Game Two the Badgers led 2-0 in the first and went on to score five runs in the third, leading 6-3. The Badgers won 10-6.
