Andrews top fundraiser for Kid’s Heart Challenge
Neveah Andrews was the top fundraiser at Valley View Elementary for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge.

BONNERS FERRY — Neveah Andrews, a student in Andrea Leach’s fifth-grade class, was the top fundraiser at Valley View Elementary School for American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser.
While learning about heart healthy foods and activities, the students asked family and friends to donate to the cause. Breaking previous years’ records, Valley View raised $5,131.35.
“The American Heart Association gives the school a gift certificate for participating and will be used for new PE equipment and the Field Day ribbons,” said Paula Petsech, VVE elementary physical education teacher.
