“Spring Into Summer” on Saturday, May 6 at your museum.

Schedule for the day:

• 11 a.m. to noon — BFHS Robotics Team — 2130 Alpha + and “Sir Flowers”

• 1:30-3:30 p.m. — Gary Eller — Songs and Poems of the Early Idaho Panhandle Region

Join us in the morning as we travel into the future with the high school robotics team. They will demonstrate this year’s robot, “Sir Flowers.” The team will have stories to share about their competition in Nampa and will answer questions you may have.

Join us in the afternoon as we step back in time into Idaho’s past with musician, author, and folklorist P. Gary Eller. He will tell stories of how the people, who developed the Idaho Panhandle region, recorded their history in part through stories, songs and poems. Eller has preserved some of this heritage with his Idaho Songs Project, creating his 19th CD/booklet project, "Songs and Poems of the Early Idaho Panhandle Region." Eller asks you to bring your instruments for a jam session after his presentation.

See you at the museum. “Make no mistake about it — these events will be FUN!”
