BCH Health Fair and Fun Run
Boundary Community Hospital and the Fry Healthcare Foundation is hosting a 2023 Health Fair and Fun Run benefiting the Boundary Community Hospital, taking place May 13 at BCH — 6640 Kaniksu St., Bonners Ferry.
“This event is an excellent opportunity for community members of all ages to come together, get active, and receive free health screenings at our local hospital,” said Danielle Larsson, community relations and marketing director at BCH.
The Fun Run will feature a 3K Family Walk, a 5K Run, and a 10K Run at 8 a.m. Registration is open online and at 7 a.m. before the run. In addition to the Fun Run, we will be hosting a Health Fair, which will provide attendees with health screenings (blood pressure, A1C and Lipid panel coupons) all information and resources on a range of health and wellness topics.
As well as car seat safety. There will be free car seats and cribs available through Safe Start.
Life Flight is also scheduled for a demonstrative landing between 9-10 a.m.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of state-of-the-art medical equipment and funding ongoing programs and services at BCH.
Registration is open. The cost for adults is $35 each, and children under the age of 18 can participate for free. T-shirts will be available for purchase for $10 each while supplies last.
“We are excited to bring this event to our community once again,” Larsson said. “Our goal is to promote healthy living and bring critical healthcare services to our community.”
This event would not be possible without the support of our sponsors the Fry Healthcare Foundation, and Molina Healthcare of Idaho, and we are grateful for their contributions to this worthy cause. All community members are invited for this exciting event and help support BCH.
“Your participation will make a significant difference in the health and well-being of our community,” Larsson said.
