BONNERS FERRY — Bonners Ferry High School Art Walk returns June 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. in downtown Bonners Ferry.

Students have been working on their artwork all year, and for their final project they have the opportunity to share their work for the community.

“Please join us on the sidewalk fronts of various businesses, where students will showcase their talents and discuss their inspirations,” said Josh Knaggs, Art Educator at BFHS. “If you like what you see, there’s a chance you could support the arts with a purchase.”

Knaggs said the Art Walk has been part of the final for art classes at BFHS since about 2016, but had been limited during COVID. Having the students interact with the public as part of an art show is crucial as it allows them to defend and discuss their work with others, he said.

Graduation is June 3 and the art program hopes to see past Badger artists/students, as well as lots of family and friends at the Art Walk on June 2.
