Shook Twins deliver Thanksgiving tradition
A 12-year tradition continues with the after-Thanksgiving return of the Shook Twins' Giving Thanks Show at the Pearl Theater at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24.
The show will feature the twins' full band — and some brand new music off an album so new it's yet to be named. Coming home always brings out the best in Sandpoint twins Katelyn and Laurie, and this promises to be a show not to miss.
Musical all their lives, identical twins Katelyn, vocals and guitar, and Laurie, banjo and vocals, began recording in 2007. The Shook Twins have released four albums: "You Can Have the Rest," "What We Do," "Some Good Lives" and "Windows" before just completing production on their latest. They've performed hundreds of shows across the nation and in Canada, including, since 2011 with the exception of the two COVID years, their annual Thanksgiving homecoming shows at the Pearl and Panida theaters.
Both shows are a tradition for Shook Twin fans, who without fail pack the house year after year, as happy to see the twins as the twins are happy to perform for them.
Advance tickets for the Bonners Ferry show are $30 online at thehistoricpearltheater.org and all are will-call, picked up at the door using order number, email or name. No tickets will be mailed, and all sales are final with no refunds or exchanges.
