Detention Deputy retires after 17 years

BONNERS FERRY — Detention Deputy Jim Ranlett recently retired and celebrated 17 years of service to Boundary County.
Ranlett reached his retirement points on his birthday.
“Jim was always someone that you could count on for being fair, treating people with respect and doing a good job,” said Boundary County Sheriff Dave Kramer.
BCSO officials said they will miss Ranlett and wish him all the best in his retirement.
