Fans needed to participate in Homecoming field entrance

BONNERS FERRY — Bonners Ferry High School cheerleaders invite Badger fans to join them in welcoming Badger football onto the field for the Homecoming game against Orofino on Oct. 13.
“Come show support to your favorite Badger players. Bring your signs banners, flags, jerseys and let's give them a huge entrance onto the field,” Chris Gaffield, Bonners Ferry head cheerleading coach, said.
Those wishing to participate should come to the Mendenhall Stadium at 6:15 p.m. to get organized before the 7 p.m. kickoff.
Gaffield said she hopes the entrance resembles Virginia Tech's spirited and loud entrance.
Once the team has entered the field, fans must vacate the field, following guidance from the cheerleaders.
Cheerleading alumni are invited to assist Badger cheer the final five minutes of the fourth quarter at Homecoming.
