FHF Golf Tournament raises over $8,000
Its 15th annual golf tournament, made possible by the generous support of local sponsors and participants was a tremendous success, Fry Healthcare Foundation officials said.
This year's event, held on Aug. 18 at Mirror Lake Golf Course, proved to be a remarkable demonstration of community spirit and dedication.
"A heartfelt thank you goes out to our valued sponsors who played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding success," said Danielle Larsson, community relations and marketing at Boundary Community Hospital. "We extend our sincere gratitude to Fousts, Inc., Edward Jones, Beck’s Furniture, Boundary Tractor, VFW 3622, Mountain West Bank, KG&T Septic and Excavation, Bonners Ferry Vet Clinic, and Yellowstone Insurance. Their unwavering support helped create an unforgettable day of golf and fundraising."
The tournament raised $8,350 through sponsorships, registrations and the exciting golf ball drop, Larsson said.
The funds will go toward the purchase of a new EKG machine for Boundary Community Clinics.
"This critical medical equipment will enhance health care services in Boundary County, improving the well-being of our community members," she said.
The two recliners donated by Beck’s Furniture and Edward Jones for the Great Golf Ball Drop were won by Kevin Callos. Unfortunately, there was no winner for the hole-in-one contest, which featured a prize of an ATV donated by Boundary Tractor.
Larsson said that Boundary County residents have every reason to be proud of their active involvement and support for local initiatives.
"Events like the FHF Golf Tournament, along with fun wine walks, elegant dinner galas, and the generous sponsorship of Fry Healthcare Foundation events, may seem small individually, but their collective impact is truly astounding," she added. "Together, we are making a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors and friends."
Fry Healthcare Foundation said they deeply appreciate its sponsors, participants and volunteers who contributed to the success of the golf tournament. Their commitment to the community's health and well-being is truly commendable, Larsson said.
