Accurate Northwest launches 'Deervember' fundraiser
Accurate Northwest has teamed up with the Bonners Ferry Food Bank to help its friends and neighbors in need as the community rolls into the holiday season.
November is a busy month for autobody repair shops, mainly because of deer and other animals being on the move, dark highways, more traffic, and increasingly distracted drivers.
In an effort to raise safety awareness and help those in need, "Deervember" officially kicks off Nov. 1, Accurate Northwest officials said.
During the month of November, Accurate Northwest will donate $50 to the Bonners Ferry Food Bank for any animal strike repaired at its shop. Washington Trust has even volunteered to match the donation. This could add up to some big bucks and some "doe" to the food bank.
