This Week in History — 50 Years Ago: "A spokesman for the Boundary County Library Board announced that the sum of $4,000 had been received from the commissioners toward the purchase of the building site for the new library."
This Valley Studio photograph was taken in 1972 during the construction of the by-pass of U.S. Highway 95/2. The site for the library was purchased in 1973. Construction of the new library occurred in 1974.
