Athlete of the Week: Rickter and Falck, softball

Savannah Rickter and Jaydin Falck have been named co-athlete of the week for Badger softball.

On Wednesday April 3 against Kellogg Savannah had four runs batted in. Playing at catcher, Savannah is quick and strong behind home plate.

“She is a tough catcher who is not afraid to walk the runner back or throw down,” Cynthia Sumpter, Badger softball head coach said. 

Jayden is a talented bass runner and is not afraid to steal. She had three at bats, hit two doubles and was hit by the pitch once against Kellogg on April 3. 

“Jaydin is a great utility player; she is open to playing wherever she is needed and knows a lot of different positions,” Sumpter said.
