Donkey Basketball returns April 18

BONNERS FERRY — A barn-load of fun is expected at this year’s Donkey Basketball game, presented by the Bonners Ferry chapter of Future Farmers of America. The game will be played April 18 at the Bonners Ferry High School. 

The event is a fundraiser on behalf of the Boundary County Victim Services. Last year, the event sold approximately 600 tickets, raising $2,000 for the organization.

Tickets will be available at Safeway on April 12, from noon to 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m., and on April 13, from 10 a.m. to noon.

If purchased in advance, tickets are $9, adults; $7 for students in grades 7 to 12; and $5 for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

At the door, tickets are $10, adults, $8, students grades 7-12, and $6, children, K-6.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the game starts at 7 p.m.
