Stolley, Woodward dedicated to community, service
One of the greatest satisfactions of teaching many years at Bonners Ferry High School is being able to watch students mature into adulthood and become successful, productive members of society. Two of these are Travis Stolley and Jim Woodward.
Both Travis and Jim honorably served their country. Travis served in the Marine Corps for nine years, being deployed four times into war zones and was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant.
After graduating from the University of Idaho, Jim served in the military, completing a program in nuclear power/submarine operations, then active duty in the Navy.
After their service, both men came home to North Idaho where they are active in their respective counties. Travis has worked as a patrol officer for the city of Bonners Ferry and Boundary County Sheriff's Office. He has a tremendous rapport with youth, having previously been the school resource officer and currently hails as head coach for the BFHS Wrestling team.
Likewise, Jim is very community-oriented — currently active with Northern Lights, Sagle Fire District, and the BGH Foundation Advisory Board. Last fall Jim volunteered his crew, his time, and his equipment to dismantle the old bleachers at BFHS.
There is no question about the moral character of these two fine men — their actions prove who they are. Please join us in voting for TRUE North Idaho values — strong work ethic, a sense of community, and, most importantly, men who live with honesty and integrity.
Vote Travis Stolley for Boundary County Sheriff and Jim Woodward for Idaho Senate.
