The Antique Nomad to visit the Rusty Trunk for appraisals
Local antique owners and collectors will have the opportunity to have items appraised by a prominent YouTube appraiser at Gypsy Girl’s Rusty Trunk locations in Bonners Ferry and Ponderay.
George “The Antique Nomad”, the owner of Accredited Appraisal, runs a YouTube channel where he finds and appraises antiques in an Antique Road Show style.
“People bring amazon things to appraisal fairs, but also regular things they remember seeing their parents and grandparents use day-to-day that have sentimental value to them,” he said. “I am happy to look at anything, from art and jewelry to furniture and Pokemon cards. I am not a gemologist or art authenticator, but if I haven’t seen it myself, I can help you find people in the field who can help you more.”
Anyone interested can schedule a time slot to meet with George in Bonners Ferry on April 26 between 1:30-5:30 p.m. or in Ponderay on April 27 from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Those wishing to have their items appraised need to schedule a time slot by calling the Ponderay store at 208-265-2472 and pay a registration fee of $10.
The Bonners Ferry location, 6127 Main St., is open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Ponderay location is at 875 Kootenai Cutoff Road.
