Travis Stolley is the best choice for sheriff
I urge you to vote for Travis Stolley for Boundary County sheriff on May 21.
As a former Boundary County sheriff, I know what it takes to do the job. Stolley has all of the qualities needed to excel as sheriff and is far superior to the other two candidates.
Travis was raised in Boundary County and knows our community well. His family is dedicated to public service, and Travis continues this tradition. He served in the Marines for nine years, reaching the rank of staff sergeant (E6), and was deployed to Iraq twice and Afghanistan once. Serving his country in the Marines developed his leadership skills in a way that only military experience can.
Travis returned home from the military to raise his family here in Boundary County. He has served on the Bonners Ferry Police Department, where he served as the school resource officer. He also served at the Boundary County Sheriff’s Department, reaching the rank of detective. Travis continues to serve on the sheriff's office dive team and as a reserve deputy, and as the Bonners Ferry High School wresting coach.
Current Sheriff Dave Kramer has made tremendous improvements to our sheriff’s office, and Travis is the best candidate to continue improving and modernizing the department. Travis clearly has the leadership, dedication, and qualifications necessary to be sheriff, but it is his personal integrity and commitment to Boundary County that will make him an outstanding Sheriff.
Please join me and my wife Evelyn in voting for Travis Stolley.
