Helene Rae is named field athlete of the week and Devin Sceppe is named track athlete of the week for Bonners Ferry track and field.
Rae, a junior, took second in the shot put and discus at the Priest River Invite with throws of 37--10 and 106--0.75. In shot put her personal record is 39-11, ranking her second in 3A state and in the discus her PR is 108-9, which she earned at the 3A State Championship Track meet.
Sceppe, a sophomore, won the 110m and 300m hurdles earning two new PRs at the Priest River Invite on April 20. He is currently ranked third in both events in the 3A Intermountain League with PRs of 18.55 in the 100m hurdles and 46.93 in the 300m hurdles.
