Moyie Springs Outdoor market returns for second year

MOYIE SPRINGS — The Moyie Springs Outdoor Market is returning for a second year with opening day set for May 4.
The market will be promoting a Mother’s Day basket, which will include items from vendors. Customers will receive a raffle ticket with purchase at booths on May 4 and May 11, with a drawing taking place on May 11 at the closing of market. Each vendor will be contributing to the basket with an item from their booth.
There is currently a sign announcing the market at Moyie Springs City Hall. Additional signs will be added along U.S. 95 and U.S. 2.
The market is held Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 4 through Aug. 31, outside of Moyie Springs City Hall.
As an open market, vendors will come and go depending on the week. There will be a variety of vendors, from handmade goods, produce, second hand items and more.
“As a free market, everybody is responsible for their own booth,” said organizer Lille Blackwell.
