IDAHO FOOTBALL: Vandals opened fall practice Wednesday

MOSCOW — The Idaho Vandal football team, picked to finish third in the Big Sky Conference, opened their fall camp Wednesday in Moscow.
Fall camp scrimmages are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 8 and Saturday, Aug. 17.
Five Vandal players earned All-Big Sky Preseason honors and two earned preseason All-American honors. The Idaho offense doesn't have a single senior on the roster and redshirt sophomore Jack Layne is presumptive leader to be the opening day starter at quarterback. Nine transfers and 38 freshmen join the team and ahead of fall camp.
