Three local teams play at SilverHoops 3-on-3 tournament

KELLOGG — Local youth basketball players competed at the SilverHoops 3-0n-3 tournament on July 27.
In the 9th-10th grade division Riley Beggerly, Jameson Cartwright-Kissee and Ty Schrock went 5-2. Both losses went in to overtime and they played the game before the championship game in their division.
In the 5th-6th grade boys division Tycen Koberstien, Tanner Baisden, Bradon Cartwright-Kissee and Ryle McReynolds went 4-2.
In the 7th-8th grade age group Shane Rice, Dallin Baisden, Brecken Miller, Weston Cartwright-Kissee and Brydin Weymer played the championship in the consolation bracket but fell short of placing.
Brydin broke his arm the day before the competition and couldn't play but went and cheered his team on.
