This photograph was on the front page of the Bonners Ferry Herald on Dec. 6, 1912. It is of A.J. Kent standing in a Bonner County fair booth in 1912 showing products grown in the Kootenai Valley.

Howard said, "The newly organized Kootenai Valley Commercial Club had this display at the fifth annual Bonner County Fair. The potato portion was created by students, Earl Heathershaw and Doug Irving. The display was to go to the State Fair in Boise, but got lost in transit."
