BONNERS FERRY — The Lady Badgers bested the Flathead Valley Crusaders in a clutch performance at the Badger Den this past Friday.
Sophomore Taren Bateman poured in a season-best 31 points, including three 3-pointers while senior Sydney Hinthorn filled up the box score with 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.
As a team, Bonners Ferry has established a defensive-minded identity. Friday night’s performance was no different, as the girls generated 21 steals and got out in transition to score quick and highly efficient paint points.
The Lady Badgers are now in the midst of a week-long break. They will return to action on Dec. 27 for the Lions Club Christmas Tournament hosted by Reardan High, where they open up play with Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls at 2 p.m.
