Angel’s kindness will be paid forward
A heartfelt thanks from this senior man. I was reminded of the goodness in people when I was shopping for sanitary products for my wife at Super 1 Foods.
At 8:41 a.m. on Jan. 29, I was at the checkout where Kim was cashing and I attempted to use my debit card, but it had a chip failure through several tries. The card had been used successfully previously and was good at another location after this problem. I must first apologize to the people lined up behind me for the delay I caused.
After about four stubborn tries my frustration and embarrassment must have shown. That is when what I call an angel, the lady right behind me, inserted her card in the reader and paid for my $70 purchase. In my befuddlement, I failed to get this lady’s name and could only issue a weak thank you. So, I now publicly announce how grateful I am to this lady and am reminded that with all the bad things happening in this country, there is still goodness in the souls of some people in Idaho. I fully intend to pay this generosity forward.
