Senior Trey Bateman is named Athlete of the Week for Bonners Ferry boys basketball. The 6-foot-3 post is known for his defensive presence, quick game decisions, assists and the unexpected deep three-pointer. Bateman averages about one steal per game.
He’s known mostly for his baseball skills, but his hand eye coordination transfers from the diamond to the hardwood by way of no-look passes to open teammates and nearly full court passes off defensive rebounds.
