BFPD thanks Off Grid Doc for first aid kits

BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry Police Department wants to thank a local health care provider for donating first aid kits for officers to keep in their patrol vehicles.
Off Grid Doc donated several high-quality first aid kits to be used to patrol vehicles, Bonners Ferry Police Chief Brian Zimmerman said.
“Usually when responding to calls we don’t have to wait very long for paramedics and the ambulance to arrive, but when they are on a call outside of town it is a little more challenging,” Zimmerman said. “With these kits, we can get started to help the injured or other issues.”
Before the donation, the police chief said the department did not have first aid kits in patrol cars.
