Badger girls pin their way to victory over Post Falls
BONNERS FERRY— Bonners Ferry girls wrestling sweep Post Falls with every Badger winning their match for Senior Night on Feb. 7.
Post Falls sole victory was by forfeit and seven Badgers won by pin.
Starting out were double team forfeits for the 100, 107 and 114 weight classes.
Neveah Therrien (114, 26-3), the 2023 107 Defending state champion, wrestled up a weight class to 120 and after a tough battle pinned Post Falls’ Emma Younger.
Bonners Ferry head coach Travis Stolley said Therrien currently wrestles at 114, but wrestled up a weight class on Wednesday, as Post Falls did not have a wrestler at 114.
