Bonners Ferry community blood drives announced

Vitalant Blood Drive will be in Bonners Ferry on March 12 and March 16. 

In preparation for the upcoming solar eclipse, this month’s blood drive is eclipse-themed and donors will receive a free pair of solar eclipse glasses and a T-shirt. There is a limited number of items  In addition, those who donate will be entered for a chance to win one of four $5000 gift cards. 

Donation stations will be at: 

On Tuesday, March 12, a blood drive will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

On Saturday, March 16, a drive will be held at Safeway in the Vitalant donation bus. The drive will be held from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located at 6568 Alderson Lane, Bonners Ferry. The Bonners Ferry Safeway is located at 6519 Main St.
