Gary W. Lies, 78

Gary W. Lies, of Moyie Springs, Idaho, passed Jan 28, 2024, at Kootenai Health.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Alice Lies; and a brother, Charles Lies. He is survived by his wife, Janice Lies; a daughter, Alice Lies, and her children Quillan and Jasmine; and Jasmine’s two children and stepson; his son, Gary Lies; and his eight children and six grandchildren. Gary is also survived by many nieces and nephews; brothers Chuck Lies and Leroy Lies and his wife; and many more. 

Gary was a Vietnam veteran of the 101st Airborne and a Purple Heart recipient. He was one hell of a huckleberry picker and fiercely loved his family and friends. He will be truly missed.
