BCL has found first ‘Book Nerd’
Marsha Semar has been awarded the first “Book Nerd” T-shirt for completing the adult reading program through the Boundary County Library.
The program is intended to provide an incentive to explore different genres, as well as get rewarded when readers finish. There are 12 categories to choose what to read, whether it is a classic, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, or an exciting young adult novel, there is something interesting for every reader.
When readers finish a book in 10 out of 12 categories, they will be rewarded with a ‘Book Nerd’ T-shirt
There are two designs and multiple colors available for the winners to choose from. A tracking sheet and information can be found online at boundarycountylibrary.com or you can stop into the library to pick one up.
For families with young readers, there are children's programs going on as well, library officials said.
