Athlete of the Week: Thomas Bateman, boys basketball

Thomas Bateman, a junior, has been named athlete of the week for Bonners Ferry boys basketball. 

The six-foot three guard has been a core player and consistent shooter for Badger varsity basketball since his freshman year. Bateman led the Badgers against Lakeside (Plummer) on Jan. 6 with 22 points and averages 15 points per game.

As of Jan. 6, Bateman has scored 165 points this season and earned his game high of 25 points against East Valley on Dec. 9.
