| July 4, 2024 1:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY— Boundary Community Hospital is hosting free sports physicals for local students on July 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

BCH has again partnered with Boundary County School District to host the annual Free Sports Physicals event. This event ensures all Boundary County students have the opportunity to participate in athletics without the financial barrier of a physical exam.

Physicals are required for students entering grades 6, 7, 9, or 11 who plan to participate in any school-sponsored sport, including robotics and flag football. Additionally, any student new to the athletic programs requires a physical.

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Boundary Community Hospital, located at 6640 Kaniksu Street, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805.

A parent or guardian must accompany all students during their physical. Forms will be provided at the event.

“We understand the importance of athletics for students’ physical and mental well- being,” says Danielle Larsson, Community Relations and Marketing Coordinator of BCH. “This event removes a financial barrier and allows all students to participate in the sports they love. We are grateful to our staff and volunteers for their dedication to making this event an annual success.”
