STATE TIMBER SALE CR200408, RIDGE RUNNER A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 2550 Highway 2 W., Sandpoint, ID 83864, at 11:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 for an estimated 1,595 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA  FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION  MOYIE RIVER HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT (FERC NO. 1991)  PUBLIC NOTICE  The City of Bonners Ferry, Idaho (City) owns and operates the Moyie River Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 1991) (Project). The Project is a 3.95-megawatt (MW) hydroelectric dam located on the Moyie River in Boundary County, near the town of Moyie Springs, Idaho. In support of the Project relicensing process that the City has initiated with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the City is seeking agency and public input.  In accordance with the applicable provisions of 18 CFR §16.8(b)(3), the City will hold a joint agency/public meeting on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 9:00 AM PST at the Bonners Ferry City Hall located at 7232 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805. The meeting will consist of (a) a description of existing Project facilities and operations; (b) an overview of the FERC relicensing process; (c) discussion of the existing environmental resource information; and (d) potential resource information needs and management objectives.
