Fred Hatfield, 74

Fred Steven Hatfield, 74, was born August 21, 1949, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He went to school at Naples Elementary and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School.

He passed away at home in Tennessee on May 21, 2024.

Fred, in his youth, was a world-class amateur boxer.

He suffered many health problems throughout his life with the last one being mini strokes. He said on his last day he just didn't have any more fight left in him. 

Fred is survived by his wife, Jodi, of Tennessee; his daughter, Heidi (Bryan) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Karl of Oregon; Davis(Suzie) of Priest River; Bill (Trudy) of Perry, Utah; Doug (Rhonda) of Perry, Utah; sister Kathy (Frank) Hanks of Bonners Ferry; and Brenda(Russ) DeJong of Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa; and parents, Koyle and Glenna Hatfield.
