2nd Harvest returns June 13

BONNERS FERRY—The third 2nd Harvest free food distribution of the season will be held Thursday, June 13, at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. 

2nd Harvest, along with local volunteers, will distribute from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cars should enter the fairgrounds from the 4th St. entrance. No sign up or registration is necessary to pick up food which usually includes staples, fresh produce, bakery, dairy and meat.

Last month 257 families were served. Volunteers to help pack and distribute food are always welcomed, too. These people should arrive at the west end of the fairgrounds by 10 a.m. the morning of the event.
