Restorium community barbecue set for June 30

BONNERS FERRY — Every year the community gathers at the Boundary County Restorium to enjoy time with family and friends, music and food. This year’s annual Restorium community barbecue is scheduled for Sunday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The event is located at the Restorium and those who attend can expect musical entertainment, silent auction, and a live food auction. There will also be a special pie auction at 1 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $10, adults, $5 children (ages 4-11), free for preschool or $30 for a family.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Restorium and all proceeds are going to benefit the residents of the Restorium. Funds are used for facility upgrades and provide services that advance residents’ safety, care, comfort and enjoyment.
Friends of the Restorium is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support to help the county-owned senior living facility. FOR’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for the residents.
Since FOR is a nonprofit, donations are tax deductible.
