Troop 114 thanks donors

Boy Scout Troop 114 officials want the Bonners Ferry Eagles to know they appreciate the organization’s generous donation of $350, which helped the troop purchase two tents. New scouts who lack equipment for their camping adventures will be using the new tents. 

“Typically when younger scouts come into the program, they come with no equipment,” Brian Johnson, assistant scoutmaster, said. “We will usually cobble things together or find loaner equipment to help the kids out.” 

The troop also thanked Far North Outfitters for giving them a good deal on the tents. 

“The tents will see lots of action in the years to come,” Johnson said.
