Open house at NICA this Friday
PARADISE VALLEY — North Idaho Classical Academy is hosting an open house and campus walk on Friday from 10-11 a.m.
The event is for prospective families and interested community members, Dr. Jacob Francom, NICA principal, said.
“We had a lot of people at our March information session and many wanted to see the facilities. We will take a walk and talk to see the facilities and answer any questions people have about the school,” he said. “We will also have the landscape design plan and building plans for people to review and see how the school will be structured.”
NICA is projected to open in fall 2025 and will serve students in grades K-6 to start. School officials then plan to add a grade each year until it serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The school is located at the former Boulder Creek Academy, 147 Emerson Lane. It will be a five-day-a-week, tuition-free, open-enrollment charter school utilizing Hilldale K-12 curriculum.
This will be the third school of the American Classical Schools of Idaho which are affiliated with the Hillsdale College Barney Charter School Initiative.
The open house is Friday, March 22 from 10-11 a.m. To RSVP, go online to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd1HNJbNRD1IxvxMH1QYR_TmY7EK0IZoYTxFTDqqF194IKGXw/viewform
