APRIL NIBJ 40 Under 40: Danielle Larsson

For Danielle Larsson, losing her family home and community to a wildfire in 2018 was a catalyst for personal growth.

“Devastating as it was, it also ignited a fire within me to pursue my goals,” she said.

Larsson returned to school after a seven-year break and completed her degree, as well as several certifications. For the past three years, she’s  worked as the marketing and community relations director for Boundary Community Hospital, where she uses her passion for marketing to serve her community.

“It’s incredibly fulfilling to help patients discover essential services close to home and connect families with resources,” she said.

Alongside a dedicated team, Larsson organizes fundraising events to build community spirit and support vital equipment acquisition for the hospital and clinics. She also spearheads community initiatives like free sports physicals and health fairs.

“Being named a 40 Under 40 winner is incredibly humbling,” she said. “My primary focus remains supporting our community. This recognition only fuels my dedication to making an even greater impact.”
