Easter Egg hunts set for Saturday

| March 28, 2024 1:00 AM

Each year, the Saturday before Easter Sunday, the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club hosts the annual Egg hunt.

Bonners Ferry families and their children excitedly gather at the Boundary County Fairgrounds, with smiles on their faces and their Easter baskets in hand, waiting in great anticipation for the hunt to begin. This year is sure to be no different, as it will once again make its way to the fairgrounds, 6571 Recreation Park Road, on Saturday, March 30. The hunt begins promptly at 11 a.m.so don’t be late. For more information, go online to the Rotary’s Facebook page.

In addition to the Rotary event at the fairgrounds, there will be an Easter egg hunt at the Curley Creek Community Hall, 7155 Old Highway Two Loop in Moyie Springs, on March 30 at 10 a.m. There will be three age groups for participation as well as cash prizes and an Easter basket for each group. The Curly Creek Easter egg hunt is sponsored by the Curley Q’s Homemakers Club and the 4-H Club.

Organizers ask that those attending to please park on the street to allow room for the hunt next to the fire station and hall.
