Nina (Funderburg) Saunders, 71

Nina (Funderburg) Saunders passed away Feb. 28, 2024, at her home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, at the age of 71. She was born April 29, 1952, in San Jose, Calif., to Floyd Cody and Betty Funderburg. The family came to Bonners Ferry in 1966 to visit family, then moved there in 1967. 

She enjoyed crocheting and spending time fishing. She loved reading, and had her own library within her home as well as a collection of movies. 

She was first married to Edward Campbell then later married Gene Saunders.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Funderburg in 2004; her mother, Betty Funderburg in 1989; her sister, Donna Torrence in 2003; a brother, Lloyd in 2023; and a nephew, Isaac Henry Funderburg in 1983. She is survived by one sister, Trish Walls; a brother, Jesse Funderburg; and seven nieces and nephews and many cousins.
